The printer did not work. We have had the same printer for 5 years so we do know how to use it. It wa.s returned and seems to been taken care of.
Beware...Slow printing...Would not recommend..I got my printer from Dell...When I bought my Desk Top Computer...Worse mistake I did...Does only print 1 page at a time...Please check out others printers and forget this one...So,save your Money....and check others out...I will be taking mine to the Mission shop...To Slow for Me...
Sellers on here really should be drug-tested because anyone selling this POS for $280 must be a crack addict! This printer has always got an excuse to not just print like it's supposed to. Usually, it likes to give me crap that the ink cartridges aren't the overpriced ones that I should order from Dell directly, or that the ones I have in there are essentially counterfeit - like that should be any business of a printer's. Mine's got a date with my driveway coming up "Office Space"-style. I owe it that much and I'm owed that much ;)
PIECE OF GARBAGE PRINTER. Not bad in between problems and hassles. It's a challenge to change the print cartridges! They have to snap in just so. I just went to change my cartridge to finish up my Christmas project and the cheap plastic piece that holds the cartridge in snapped and broke off. Now I have no printer!!! Probably not even worth it to get fixed. Will NOT buy one from Dell. Their customer service is as bad as their products!
Dell Photo All-in-One Printer 924 is the BEST small printer! I have wore one out and had to go to Amazon and purchased another. So simple to use. Would buy another one just to keep one handy. I have a Home-Based Business and I print alot on card stock . . . Works like a charm.
I bought a Dell AIO Photo 924 secondhand after seeing it successfully copied a magazine cover, colors and all. I also got to have the scanner work fine. But when I finally got around to the printer part--printing a document on my computer, that is--the machine kept doing two things: color ink was low and it 'jammed' all several times I tried. Jam?? That didn't make sense as no paper got messed up. I had an idea to take all but one paper out, tried again and voila, I finally got it to print fine. When it printed, the paper went thru rather fast before I knew it. Be sure to pull out the smoke colored tray out in front to receive the printed jobs or they'll probably fall to the floor.
Granted, this machine may be old by today's standards but seems to work fine. If you usually print one-page documents and don't mind keeping the paper handy and feeding it one at a time, this may be for you. If you'd rather print more than one page while you're doing something else, keep on looking. By the way, the paper that printed successfully turned out to be any brand paper...as long as it's fed one at a time.
Jams literally every time and nothing will be stuck in it. I would give it 0 stars if it was possible.
I am not trying to offend the seller or anything, but this printer SUCKS .............BADLY.I mean come on.Who gets a printer and the first thing it says when you turn it on is error. What!!Thats crazy.I know the price was cheap and all,BUT,now I see why.
I am on my third printer. Dell quit making this one and I have bought two from Amazon; I use one in our house, and my husband who is a preacher uses one in his study. I thought I had a problem with mine and bought another one only to find out it was the paper I was using.
This unit was purchased to replace one that was broken it came with everything I needed to plug and play. Works just like the previous one.
