Aug 23, 2009Yeah - what a scam. The ink doesn`t last - it runs out so quickly and then to find out you have to order it from Lexmark! IT`S BEEN TERRIBLE. I wish I would have known what a pain in the behind this printer was going to be!

Jul 07, 2009Lexmark All-in_One x4690. Uses #4 replacement Part#:18C1974. A variable amount of ink remains when this cartridge must be replaced. This is a non-refillable cartridge licensed for single use only. Return empty cartridge only to Lexmark for remanufacturing, refilling or recycling. Replacement cartridges (4A) sold without those terms are available. Many places Walgreens, Office Depot, Staples, Digital River -lexmark online, ebay...also look for compatable cartridges. gl! Want ink more readily available!

Feb 05, 2009Was so pleased with this printer. So-o-o-o disappointed now!!!!! Then a week later, Circuit City out of business. Your site shows amazon for the #4, but they list as unavailable. I REALLY HATE THAT LEXMARK IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GET INK FOR THIS MODEL. We need to find other carriers, or a substitute number!

Jan 20, 2009Where in so. Oregon can I purchase my +4 & 5 ink for my new Lexmark x4690 printr. I live near Medford Oregon where I used to be able to get it at Ciruit City. However. they are no longer going to be there due to their bankrupcy closing.
