Lexmark 100XL Cyan, Ink Cartridge ^{High Yield}

Nice color ink, but expensive!

Too bad color ink is so expensive! This is true, I think, with all, or most, color inks, regardless of brand. This works very well in my Lexmark Prestige 801 printer. I wish it weren't so expensive, though!

This was for my wife's printer as she ran out and needed one ASAP for work she was going to be doing in a few days. The item arrived very quickly and was installed and working prior to dead line.

I did not get one good copy or printed page with this cartridge. I cleaned the print heads. Deep cleaned the print heads. Checked ink levels and...the cartridge shows up as 1/2 empty even though I've only printed two test pages and the pages that print after the deep clean. Pretty strange since there is barely any black ink on any of those pages. Very disappointing. On the bright side the color cartridges I bought (same manufacturer just the color ones) were fine. All installed without a problem - this is the right ink cartridge for my Lexmark Prospect Pro205 E. If you must purchase, I recommend you buy in a brick and mortar store so you can return if necessary.

Excellent product!

I am completely happy with my new Lexmark printer that uses this particular ink cartridge. It lasts a very long time, which is exactly what most of us are looking for. The quality is excellent!

Cartridges and Printers DO NOT allow use of all ink

Not only are these cartridges expensive, they also are designed so that you will not be able to use all the ink in them... thus costing you even more money. They way it works is that the printers simply count the page prints and do not actually check ink levels. So regardless of how much ink in still in a given cartridge the printer will set the chip on the cartridge to empty, thus rendering it useless and not operable. Thus the printer will refuse to work until you insert a new, very expensive, ink cartridge.

Stay away from LEXMARK!

Fast and Very Reasonable

The cartridges came quick and are of very good quality. I would certainly buy from them again!! It is so nice to know that you can find someone/someplace that will not try to take advantage of you like the big companies!

Cartridge does not work

No matter how many times I cleaned the print heads this will not print without lines. I had to buy a brand new one locally, it works perfectly.

Sent reconditioned cartridges as new - beware!

I ordered a Lexmark 100XL cartridge and I received a 100 catridge that was not in a Lexmark box or bag. When I called to complain they insisted it was an original Lexmark cartridge. I told them since I used only original Lexmark cartridges it was obvious that they were selling reconditioned Lexmark cartridges as new and they weren't fooling me. And they chared more than other places online. Beware!

The rare terrible experience on Amazon

Cartridges came individual plastic bags, not in box as pictured. Installed them, and printer didn't even recognize there were color cartridges present. Called company. Rep told me to shake the cartridges then install. Seemed to work at first except for yellow. Company sent replacement for yellow -then printer once again didn't recognize any of the cartridges. Gave up at that point. Won't order from this company again.
